Following the news that Alan Buckley has today been relieved of his managerial duties, the  GTST Board would like to offer their full support to caretaker manager Stuart Watkiss and the players over the coming matches as the GTFC board begins the process of identifying and recruiting a permanent manager.  We would urge all GTFC supporters to do the same and get behind the team as they look to rise up the league table.

Whilst agreeing that the GTFC board had little option following the poor start to the current season and a disappointing end to the last, the GTST Board would like to take this opportunity to thank departing manager Alan Buckley for his contribution over the past twenty two months, which included a first trip to the new Wembley Stadium.

 We look forward to welcoming the new manager once the appointment is made, and it goes without saying that they will have the full support of the GTST Board as we begin a new chapter in GTFC’s history.
