No, this isn't a Valentine's Day advert for our buy.at portal, although if you are taking the opportunity to propose to the one you love on February 14th, then there isn't a lot you can't buy from the scores of affiliated stores available if further proof of your undying affection is needed. So click on the link, have a look and if you decide to buy, then thanks a lot because you'll be earning commission for GTST and every penny is much appreciated.
Alternatively you could take your beloved for a romantic evening at McMenemys on Friday 20th February. Well ok, maybe it won't be that romantic, but it is your chance to put your nagging questions to GTFC Chairman John Fenty, Manager Mike Newell and our very own GTST Chairman Dave Otter at the Fans Forum, which has been jointly organised by the Trust and Grimsby Town FC. The doors open at 6.30pm, admission is free (useful if you've just blown all your money on an engagement ring) and the event is being broadcast live on Mariners World and BBC Radio Humberside. So if you screwed up and didn't propose on the pitch before the Bury game, this is your chance to make up for it by popping the question live on the airwaves...or you could just ask John about the new stadium instead. |
